Returning
a Defective Item:
Although we seek to partner with manufactures that demand
the highest standards of workmanship, defects can occur.
Please inspect all items thoroughly when you receive them.
If you receive an item with a manufacturer’s defect
please immediately contact us at (888).388-5308.
We will work to expedite the replacement of all defective
products. It is our policy that the customer will not incur
any additional expense for the handling of defective items.
Items
Damaged in Shipping:
Carefully examining all orders upon delivery to insure that
each item has arrived in good condition. Damages caused
in shipping should be immediately reported to both the shipping
company and Mountain Lake Log Homes, Inc. Items with visible,
non-repairable damage should be refused. It is our policy
that the customer will not incur any additional expense
for the handling of items damaged during delivery.
Returning
Items to Mountain-Lake Log Homes:
You may return any catalog item in new condition in original
packing with prior approval within 30 days for a full refund
of the item’s purchase price. Please note the following
important guidelines regarding returns:
Custom and special order items are
considered final sales and may not be returned for reasons
other than manufacturer’s defect or damage during
shipment. Items returned for reasons other than defect
will be subject to a 25% restocking fee. Shipping and
handling charges are nonrefundable.
No products may be returned without
a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA). An RMA can be
obtained by calling (888).388-5308
weekdays during normal business hours. In order to qualify
for an RMA, items must be returned to Mountain-Lake Log
Homes, Inc. in complete and sellable condition. Return
items should be shipped through a carrier that provides
package tracking and should be appropriately insured.

All of the products we feature are guaranteed against defects
in material and workmanship by their respective manufacturers.

Shipping
Information
Because of the many variables involved in shipping most of
the items we carry, shipping charges cannot be calculated
at the time of purchase. When you order a product from BestLogDecor.com,
we will calculate the most cost-effective method to ship you
your product. We will then send you an invoice by e-mail for
the shipping charge. This amount must be paid before the item
can be shipped.
Many items we feature are created one
at a time by master craftsmen who build to order. Delivery
times can range from 2-4 weeks. However, most orders are
shipped within 7-14 days of placement. Furniture items are
shipped directly from the craftsman’s manufacturing
facility. Every effort is made to insure that your order
receives priority handling. Most products are shipped via
UPS at standard UPS shipping rates. Items such as stoves
and railings over 10 feet are shipped via Common Carrier.
